Crossfire War – Vienna Talks Fail to Resolve Kosovo Issue

Crossfire War – Belgrade – Tehran – Athens Watch – Southeast Europe Theatre: Belgrade – Athens – Tehran – Moscow – Ankara – Sofia – Bucharest/Pristina – Tirana – Vienna – Brussels – Warsaw; Negotiations in Vienna Fail to Resolve Kosovo Issue

Night Watch: VIENNA – “Any misconceived decision would represent a dangerous precedent for the entire international order. Serbia is under obligation to recognize the fact that in the form in which Ahtisaari’s proposal was presented to us, many of its provisions directly breach Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, reshape its international borders, cut its territory and allow that 15% of its territory be severed and another Albanian state formed in the Balkans.” That was the response by Serbia Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica to the proposal by United Nations Special Envoy Martti Ahtisaari, which supports the demands of the ethnic Albanian majority in Kosovo to be recognized as an independent state. [BYZANTINE]

It was expected Kostunica, and the Serbian Parliament, would completely reject any further break up of their country. As a result of this pandemonium production, first orchestrated by Brussels in the early 1990s and now by Vienna, no group has lost more influence and power than the Serbian community, since they were the predominate community in Yugoslavia. The conceived grand design was a staged crisis showing the brand new East-West cooperation, NATO-Warsaw Pact governments solving the divisive disputes, within the former Yugoslavia, by way of a series of conferences, but they underestimated the realistic impact of weapon dealers.

The disputes, then war that resulted, in 1991, also became a militaristic vehicle for those within West European-NATO decision making circles to intervene, a military power projection, which I suspect was planned all along, but not realizing the conflict would force NATO to commit more forces further south, nor did they anticipate the eager involvement of Tehran and other Islamic capitals to send Islamic Mujahideen figthers in support of the Muslim government in Sarajevo, while at the same time Tehran established serious strategic relations with every government in the former Yugoslavia.

When Tehran established its memorandum of understanding relations with Zagreb, Croatia, Iran then announced “Croatia is our entry into Central Europe.” Since then Berlin has sent to Poland Leopard tanks, Washington has sent Poland’s Air Force F-16s and Moscow has been helping Poland ugrade its Soviet era aircraft. Though Russia supports Serbia, Moscow does not want Iran to have to many easy successes. Someone will have to hold the line somewhere and strangely enough, during the Ottoman Empire and its siege of Vienna, the siege was lifted by a Polish count.

Moscow has been warning, as had Belgrade, repeatedly, that any further divisions would have serious repercussions beyond the Balkans. Crossfirewar.com has reported a Hungarian community in Slovakia that has already contacted the Albanians in Kosovo, and they said if Kosovo achieves independence with UN approval then the Hungarians will apply for the same thing and secede from Slovakia.

In the meantime governments and militaries are preparing for the inevitable resumption of the war, in this theatre, and on a greater scale than even the 78 day NATO air campaign against Serbia in 1999. January last year Tehran signed a security agreement with Belgrade as did Athens in November. Iran is also preparing to launch its ballistic Shahab missiles from Turkey. That is the reason one of Iran’s missile experts “disappeared” in Ankara last month. Ankara supports the Jihad, and its war against the West, just as much as Tehran. Turkey has also increased its support of Georgia, in the South Caucasus, as has Iran, in an attempt to prevent Russia and the West from having access to the strategic resources in the region. The Shahab is a mobile missile and can be launched from Turkey at Vienna.

Vienna is where the UN atomic energy agency, the IAEA, is headquarted that has been investigating Tehran’s nuclear weapons program. Tehran never welcomed the investigation and has only pretended to cooperate, as part of its campaign of deception. In November 2005 Tehran sent its former President Mohammad Khatami to Vienna as part of his lecture-dialogue between civilizations series. After Iran’s Presidential elections that year Khatami was given a new title, Head of the Association of Combatant Clerics. Khatami, in Vienna, pretended to discuss annihilation of weapons of mass destruction. But if he had spoken more candidly he would have said instead annihilation of Vienna. He did something very similar when he attended the UN opening September 2000, as Iran’s head of state. He announced 2001 is the year of the dialogue.

This is the year Tehran sees how accurate their missiles are.
