Obama Could Implement Scientific Solution To The Syrian Crisis

Obama’s Syria Actions Based On Conjecture

Fox News reports that President Obama .” ..has faced waves of criticism since he said last summer that Syrian President Bashar Assad would ‘cross a red line’ in using chemical weapons in his country’s roughly 2-year-long civil war.” According to the article, one of the harshest critics has been Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, who said, “Words like ad-hoc, improvised, unsteady come to mind.”

President Obama’s actions and proposals regarding Syria are based largely on conjecture and incomplete information. Therefore, they lack any statistical guarantee of success. In the Middle East, it is particularly dangerous to base actions on such uncertainties, since a massive regional firestorm could erupt.

Today, however, a new, scientifically validated approach exists that can effectively end the Middle East turmoil and create peace. If President Obama were to deploy this unusual but proven approach, he would no longer need to base his decisions on guesswork.

This approach has been field-tested and validated in more than 50 replications and 23 studies published in leading peer-reviewed scientific journals during the past 25 years. It has been endorsed by hundreds of independent scientists and scholars. It has already been employed by non-US militaries, since it provides a statistically predictable guarantee of success.

Invincible Defense Technology

Where deployed by foreign military circles, the approach is known as Invincible Defense Technology (IDT). This preventive defense system operates from the deepest level of nature’s functioning – the unified field, where all the forces of nature are united at a level millions of times more powerful than the atomic level. This defense technology therefore supersedes all other approaches based on the weaker electronic, chemical, and nuclear forces.

Unfortunately, the U.S. Department of Defense has ignored this unified field-based approach. Despite the successful deployment of IDT by Latin American militaries and the extensive scientific research on IDT, the DoD continues to rely almost solely on its existing weaponry.

IDT involves creating Preventive Wings of the Military. In Preventive Wings, the members’ daily routine includes two hours twice-a-day practice of a human resource-based technology – the Unified Field technology. It is known and has been widely researched for three decades as the Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique and TM-Sidhi program. Members do it twice a day, seven days a week, preferably in a secure location near the targeted population. How does it work? This technology, unlike any other technique, is objectively proven to mobilize and enliven deep structures in the human brain, creating profound brainwave coherence. This in turn generates a powerful phenomenon, a “field effect” of coherence throughout the neighboring region. Statistical research on this phenomenon has consistently shown immediate and measurable reductions in destructive trends within the targeted population. The presence of the IDT group does not even need to be disclosed to achieve the desired outcome of profound violence reduction and thus effective conflict resolution.

In the context of war, IDT interventions have been scientifically shown to decrease war deaths and injuries, to reduce conflict levels, and to increase progress toward peace. The IDT phenomenon and approach has also been shown to decrease crime rates, violence, and terrorism in society, resulting in improved quality of life. In the 1980s, for example, seven different IDT interventions had a significant and repeatable impact on the intensity of war in Lebanon, helping to diminish and ultimately end that conflict.

In 1992, Mozambique President Joaquim Chissano, Lt. Gen. Tobias Dai and the Chiefs of Staff of the Mozambique military carefully analyzed the IDT research. They made a unanimous decision to adopt IDT for their country by training about 3,000 soldiers and 16,000 police in these technologies of consciousness. As statistically predicted, violence in the nation all but disappeared within a year. In addition, Mozambique became more self-sufficient, with economic growth rising to 19%. Once the world’s poorest country in 1992, by 2000, it became one of the world’s fastest growing economies.

Today at least one Latin American country is following the Chissano model by adopting IDT and training 11,000 military personnel for what is called a Preventive Wing of the Military.

According to previous statistical research, this number is large enough to create a global effect of coherence based on the Unified Field Technology, with profound implications for peace in our world. According to John Hagelin, Ph.D., president of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace, in order to create peace in the Middle East, “All that is needed is that a government or military leader designate a group of approximately 2,000 soldiers that could be trained” in this statistically and medically validated technology. Shaping History With Technology

History has always been shaped by advances in technology. From the mechanical to the chemical to the atomic – from swords to guns and bombs to nuclear arms – these advances have also determined the outcomes of wars. Now a new technology, based on the unified field, is poised to radically alter our entire approach to conflict resolution.

The 50 existing IDT studies, which include research on conflict interventions in the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America, constitute one of the largest and the most successful confirmations of any approach in the statistical and social sciences. The U.S. military, in making preparations to launch attacks in Syria, is missing an opportunity to make history by implementing this new approach.

If he has the political will, President Obama can now transform a potentially devastating conflict in Syria into an opportunity to create lasting peace in the Middle East. Critics may scoff initially at his decision to implement IDT, but a time is fast approaching when other critics, echoing the will of the vast majority of the nation who are tired of wars, will say, “Why did you ignore this statistically based solution and risk our involvement in yet another costly war?” If President Obama, as Commander-in-Chief, really has “a deeply held preference for peaceful solutions,” he should display his wisdom and courage by ordering his military to use IDT now.

After almost thirty years of confirming research, it is time.
