On an already hot summer day in Azle, Texas, Tyler Wade put on a breath-stopping show and his stage presence heated things up even further. The local country music singer performed Saturday, September 9th at Azle's Jumpin' Jack Jamboree where the stage in front of Common Ground Records kept the talent coming throughout the day.

Tyler charmed the crowd with a song he had penned himself titled I Aint George Jones. With just the right slinging length of thick, brown, wavy hair he brought to mind images of a youthful Waylon Jennings.

Before I knew it, my sidekick was up on his feet clapping, hollering and shaking a leg.

Tyler's band, Throwed Off, received their share of attention as well with Frank Piper and Brandon Gourley holding their own on the lead and bass guitar. Robert Byrd played them drums.

For a small town, these guys left a big impression. Tyler's song is scheduled to be recorded by Tanya Tucker on her forthcoming album, which is a tribute to George Jones.

The group will be playing for a limited time Fiday and Saturday nights at 9pm at Kilroy's Tavern, located at 240 W. Main St. Azle, Texas.

I would keep an eye out for this young man as it appears that he is well on his way.
