Crossfire War - TEHRAN WATCH - Global Theatre: Tehran - Pyongyang - Beijing/Washington - Tokyo - Berlin - Moscow; Secret Undeclared War Being Waged Against Iran - North Korea - Naval Patrols - Intelligence Agencies of 13 Countries

Night Watch: WASHINGTON - The Times of London reported today that a secret, covert war is being waged by the international community against Iran and North Korea in an effort to prevent the further development of Iran's nuclear-ballistic missile program and continued North Korean exports to it. This anti-proliferation scheme was the idea of the U. S. Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton. For years he advocated a tougher stand against Pyongyang who for years subsidized their economy by exporting missiles and nuclear technology to the Middle East and in light of last week's launchings Pyongyang is giving no indications of wanting to discontinue it. Last November crossfirewar.com reported that Iran offered North Korea free oil and gas if North Korea continued to export nuclear-ballistic technology to Iran. [Times] [WEBINDIA]

According to an unnamed senior western official quoted in the article, since diplomacy has not worked and official declared military action is not on the table, then this is the only option left. This is obviously an attempt to do something while the West-Russia-Japan prepare for the inevitable (f)allout war with Tehran. It involves naval patrols off North Korea and investigation of North Korean bank accounts. That is perhaps a way of keeping track of North Korean officials who handle the money from Tehran. The intelligence agencies of 13 countries are involved working under no central secretariat or single federal agency. Neither is there any official budget but I suspect there is no limit. Whatever funding is needed will be there.

Private records and accounting of course are being compiled. Centralized operational planning is also being conducted even though it is not confined to one central office. There is probably a full-time staff from every agency involved devoted to this. It is essentially an Allied Multinational Combined Intelligence Operation Network (AMCION), approved and sanctioned on the highest security level of every government involved, for your eyes only etc. I suspect it is really bankrolled by industrial-banking concerns worried about thier access to strategic raw materials in and around Eurasia - Africa, employing their liaisons with governments. A lot of senior executives may have had a career in government first and simply maintained their contacts when they entered the private sector. So now they see this very real threat to their entire industrial-financial base.

If you read and monitored international news closely for the past several years you could guess the more active Allied capitals involved, Washington-London-Paris-Berlin-Moscow-Tokyo-Singapore-Canberra-Rome-Taipei-Seoul-New Delhi. Since the end of the Cold War all of them have been involved in either attempts to prevent the distribution of nuclear material that left the Soviet Union, with the end of the Cold War in 1990, or they have been constantly confronted by radical Islamic groups which have state sponsorship, as New Delhi has been faced with an Islamic uprising in Kashmir since November 1989, supported by Islamabad.

This effort has been caused by the two most disturbing post-Cold War syndrome, the worldwide spread of nuclear-ballistic technology, either by export or theft procured and distributed by Islamic governments, Kuala Lumpur - Tehran-Islamabad-Riyadh, supplied by Beijing - Pyongyang and state sponsored radical Islamic terrorist groups, the vanguard of the Jihad. The problems are linked. That axis has been the most lucrative part of the international arms trade for the past 25 years.

This anti-proliferation effort is the obvious result of a general mutual agreement, behind the scenes, of all the international conferences and negotiations between Tehran and the UN International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), based in Vienna. It also encompasses and circumvents the three year negotiation Tehran used to deceive the EU-3, London-Paris-Berlin. An article admitted when the negotiations began that both sides were talking past each other. A year ago crossfirewar.com reported that Iran's then lead negotiator was actually seen laughing at the European Union on Iranian television. Of course word got back to the EU that the negotiations were a joke and still are. Tehran used them to buy more time and produce more weaponry.

So while Tehran engages in its current deception- negotiation round this secret real war is going on. Before this year is over the war will become official as a result of increased fighting in the Balkans and Caucasus, not to mention more intense fighting around Israel and in South Asia when the monsoon ends in September. The diplomatic masques will be removed then.
