Liberals Face Federal Crackdown on Sanctuary Cities

The backlash against stupid actions by the far left is beginning and it is coming from the federal government. The Department of Justice lawsuit against California indicates border patrol agents will not turn over illegal immigrants with felony warrants to authorities in the sanctuary state.

That will prevent those politically correct officials from letting the criminals loose on innocent American citizens. The walls are closing in on the far left as more Americans are fed up.

In early March, Attorney General Jeff Sessions sued California over the state’s attempts to prevent authorities from enforcing immigration laws. There is little doubt it will hold up in a court of law. That will be the first step in ridding the nation of these lawless liberals.

Tucked within that lawsuit was a declaration page from Rodney Scott, chief patrol agent in the Border Patrol’s San Diego Sector.

Border patrol agents now openly refuse to cooperate with the lawless sanctuary state. The Border Patrol sides with Americans and the law. Federal authorities are now holding illegal immigrants because California jurisdictions refused to cooperate.

That includes cocaine dealers, those possessing controlled substances and multiple-time DUI offenders. That isn’t to mention wife-beaters, child molesters and other hardened criminal felons. Had the feds released these people to state authorities, they surely would have been sent back out to the public to become repeat offenders, something liberals find fashionable.

Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf allowed this to happen. Some of those she allowed to escape federal custody have already been arrested on new crimes ranging from spousal abuse and gun crimes.

The mood of the country is shifting and the days of liberalism are growing short. If not just in the number of days, but the patience of American citizens.
