Hysterical and Unapologetic Media Gets Taste of Their Own Medicine

President Donald Trump is under siege by the hysterical and unapologetic media. If there is anyone in America that is unaware of this, they are not reading and watching.

On Thursday, fired FBI Director James Comey testified before a Senate subcommittee. He was highly anticipated by the Trump-hating media. They were under the impression that Comey would be the proverbial nail in Trump’s coffin and novice political career.

The vengeful press was in for a big surprise. Under sworn testimony, Comey turned the tables of the witch hunt. He labeled the Russia/Trump hate campaign as “not true.” He went on to say, referring to The New York Times, “In the main, it was not true,” Comey told senators of the Feb. 14 article, based on anonymous sources.

Most, if not everything, of what has been conjured up through the left-leaning media has been either “anonymous sources, former government officials, or unnamed sources.” Aside from Comey actually admitting he was the source of a leak to the New York Times, no one is going on record with their actual name.

It is not surprising that CNN and The New York Times Friday were relegated to the outer reaches of the press corps during President Donald Trump’s press conference in the White House Rose Garden with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis. That included Peter Baker, the Times’ chief White House correspondent, who was assigned to the back row of the press corps.

Can the White House be blamed after 11 months of constant attack and not one shred of evidence from the hysterical media? The New York Times had said there were “repeated contacts with senior Russian intelligence officials in the year before the election.” Wrong.

The former Director of the FBI flat out refuted that notion. That came as utter embarrassment for the many media outlets that have kept up a 24/7 bashing of this president.

Comey himself told the committee, “The challenge, and I’m not picking on reporters, about writing stories about classified information is the people talking about it often don’t really know what’s going on and those of us who actually know what’s going on are not talking about it. And we don’t call the press and say, ‘Hey, you got that thing wrong.'”

Naturally his comments were met with stifled silence in the halls of the Times and CNN. But the question for the American people is; this is journalism? The public will have to decide because the media itself has made no effort to clarify their mistakes.

Meanwhile, one of the biggest critics of the president day after day on CNN was “hurt” by the White House seating arrangement. White House correspondent Jim Acosta told host Wolf Blitzer that the cable network was placed “several rows behind the president and behind the Romanian press as well.”

What can the president do to fight back when day after day the biased media has a new unfounded story about his family, cabinet members or other falsified gossip? Acosta could only tell the highly opinionated Blitzer, who claims to be a “journalist,” “We are in the equivalent of Siberia. No pun intended, when it comes to where we were seated in the audience section of the press section of that Rose Garden news conference.”

Call it what it is; retaliation. Eleven months of this media onslaught without one piece of evidence that has not been confirmed as a crime of any sort. Will the media now back off and allow the duly elected president run the country?

Not to the oblivious and hysterical Trump-haters who pretend to be providing real news. Acosta told Blitzer, “it felt like we were being put in time-out, quite honestly.”

Really Jim, ya think?
