Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s health issues are at the forefront of her campaign Sunday. The former Secretary of State suddenly made a hasty exit from a 9/11 memorial ceremony in New York. Her campaign spokesman told media attendees she felt overheated.
The official announcement by spokesman Nick Merrill was, “Secretary Clinton attended the September 11th Commemoration Ceremony for just an hour and thirty minutes this morning to pay her respects and greet some of the families of the fallen. During the ceremony, she felt overheated so she departed to go to her daughters apartment, and is feeling much better,” he said.
No Specific Medical Issues Discussed
In the past few weeks, Clinton has had severe coughing spells, disappeared from the campaign trail for over a week in August and basically pressured to give a 15-minute news conference on the tarmac of an airport. It had been almost 300-days since her last open media session.
Dr. Drew Pinsky questioned Hillary’s health two weeks ago, after reviewing the health record her campaign issued. He was almost immediately fired by CNN.
Nevertheless, as she left her daughter’s apartment late Sunday morning, Clinton said she is feeling great, “Its a beautiful day in New York,” she added. Temperatures were mild in New York City, low 80s and a breeze was blowing at approximately 10 miles per hour.
Outside of the campaigns spin doctors, a law enforcement source told Fox News that Clinton left the ceremony early “due to a medical episode.” It appeared that Clinton appeared to faint going into her van. Fox News described Clinton stumbling off a curb and her “knees buckled.”
The video clearly shows her being supported by both a bollard and one of her staff, who has her arm under Hillary’s. Then, as she steps forward, her legs don’t hold her up, and a security man steps in to help.
“Meanwhile, have not officially responded of her exact whereabouts 30 minutes after the departure,” an ABC News staffer tweeted.
A question remains, where did Hillary go after the apartment visit with her daughter? Was it a sly way to cover her final destination? Was she admitted to a hospital in the area? As is the usual situation in this sort of curiosity, the left-sided media will ignore such questions and file Trump-bashing stories instead.
