Former losing presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates are on a mission to paint America as chaotic and divisive. It is all a ploy to convince Americans that Trump is responsible for one big mess.
Clinton, who lost her 2016 presidential bid against Trump in a stunning upset, was speaking in Selma, Alabama over the weekend. With her usual gloom and doom approach and another number of excuses for losing the presidency, she claimed our democracy is in “full-fledged crisis.”
Clinton went on to say, “This is a time, my friends, when fundamental rights, civic virtue, freedom of the press, the rule of law, truth, facts and reason are under assault.” In other words, she says Trump ruined the country and they should be all ashamed they didn’t elect her to save it.
Gloom and Doom Democrats
Hillary is not alone saying the sky is falling. She is joined by numerous Democratic hopefuls including Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) who says Trump’s presidency is “devastating.” She continues, “President Trump has created such divisions, such darkness, such hate, and we need someone who can restore what has been lost, that moral integrity, that leadership in the world.”
Then there is old socialist Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) who says, Trump is here to “divide us.” He banters on, “Donald Trump wants to divide us up based on the color of our skin, based on where we were born, based on our gender, our religion, and our sexual orientation,” Sanders warned. “What we are about is doing exactly the opposite: We are going to bring our people together.”
The Left Has Nothing To Offer
This leftist diatribe is nothing new. It started well over 50-years ago. These are the scare tactics they use when all is lost for them.
The far-left knows full well they do not have the base to beat Trump. They hope these sorts of tactics will instill fear and hatred in the most gullible Americans – and 20 million illegals.
Hillary’s hate speech in Selma is a good example. It is the left trying to take advantage of a point in history that has solved itself. It’s only the fringe of the Democrats who perceive anarchy.
