The Democratic Party, in their zeal to recruit a new generation of voters to their base, embrace illegal immigration. The party that is the so-called ‘champion’ of the downtrodden sees a wealth of new voters in the hordes of illegals they can make citizens.
In that quest, they have done untold damage to the citizens of this country. They hide their heads in the sand and plug their ears to the horror stories that are enacted by a minority of illegals residing here. That includes the exploits of the El Salvador gang called “MS-13.” The gang has been dubbed “animals” by President Trump.
The examples of injustices by these hardened criminals are too numerous to recount. But one recent incident stands out. It involves an illegal from Honduras who snuck into the country more than once.
Juan Ramon Vasquez, entered the U.S. illegally and was deported back in 2009. But he was found back in the US in 2014. He was supposed to be sent back again, but the blue state of Pennsylvania didn’t want to uphold the law.
The ICE Detainer told the Philadelphia Department of Prisons that Vasquez should be sent back to Honduras, as he was in the country illegally. But the Philadelphia Department of Prisons defied ICE and freed him.
It wasn’t long before the Philadelphia Department of Prisons encountered Vazquez again. He had committed the heinous crime of child rape.
Philadelphia’s U.S. Attorney put it this way for the media: “The facts of this case highlight the danger posed by the City of Philadelphia’s decision to disregard ICE detainers and release previously deported aliens from local custody,” said U.S. Attorney McSwain. “Those of us in the law enforcement business should be doing everything in our power to protect vulnerable children from predators like Vasquez. Instead, this defendant received a free pass from the City of Philadelphia and its Department of Prisons, headed straight back into our community, and committed a heinous crime he never would have had the chance to commit had the City of Philadelphia complied with the ICE detainer.”
Turn on any forum discussion about illegal aliens in this country on CNN, MSNBC or many other liberal outlets. The argument is about “compassion, inclusion and tolerance.” The whole idea about serious crime is a sidebar to their lust to make these law-breakers part of the Democratic Party base; even over the concerns of their own citizens and national security.
How many American victims must there be for Democrats to see the light? The anger and frustration may become apparent in November’s elections. They can’t count on help from the dream voters they so roundly cherish.
