Jeff Bader – Co-Founder of Soldiers’ Angels
March 3, 2003 Patti and Jeff Bader began with just a few friends and family supporting their oldest son – and his unit – in Iraq.
Jeff tells the history of Soldiers’ Angels. From those beginnings, there are now over 180,000 Soldiers’ Angels worldwide, and Soldiers’ Angels has just adopted their 210,000th soldier.
Nowadays the families of wounded helped in the early days, sign on to be Angels themselves, and support the current troops.
Jeff shares stories with Bob Calvert, host of the Talking With Heroes radio show, at the Soldiers’ Angels Executive Leadership Conference, in Pasadena, California, where, 150 Soldiers’ Angels and their supporters flew in.
Describing just a few of the teams in Soldiers’ Angels, Jeff encourages Americans to “Find out what you like to do, and lend a hand.”
