But in effect disappearing and missing a main point about his life as an abolitionist, along with his most historically important painting exposing the horrors of the Middle Passage – Slavers Throwing Overboard The Dead And Dying. When British slave traders did just that, to collect insurance money taken out on the kidnapped Africans.
