New Mega TV show adds popular actress, host and journalist

Spanish Broadcasting System (“SBS”) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that renowned actress and journalist Angie Perez Capoblanco is the newest host to join Mega TV’s infotainment magazine show “Los Implicados,” alongside Hosts Camilo Egana and Poncho de Anda. “Los Implicados” airs every Monday through Friday at 10:00 P.M. (ET) and 11:00 P.M (PT).

“Los Implicados” covers top celebrities, people in the news and interesting people who have a story to tell. The unique format of “Los Implicados” allows guests and audience members to interact with each other during the show. The program uses live satellite connections in key U.S. Hispanic markets, as well as the Internet and Skype to engage and connect with the audience.

“What I like the most about ‘Los Implicados’ is being able to express myself freely, thanks to the fact that we live in a country where freedom of speech is respected. There are many journalists, especially from other countries, who don’t have this privilege. Mega TV is a true pioneer in this aspect, giving us the opportunity to say what we feel,” said Angie Perez.

“After a long day of work, people want something light and refreshing to finish their day, and ‘Los Implicados’ is that very thing. We know that Angie Perez will help make this show even more successful,” said Eduardo Suarez, V.P of Programming Production for Mega TV. “We look forward to seeing what Angie adds to the ‘Los Implicados’ family.”

Angie Perez is one of the up and coming faces of Hispanic television in the U.S. However, she is not new to the media industry. Angie has been in the business for over 10 years, covering news and entertainment within and outside her native Venezuela. In 2009, she served as a judge for pageant segment “Academia de Reinas” and was repeatedly invited by Telefutura Network to be a guest panelist/host on its entertainment commentary show “La Tijera.”

Stay tuned for the latest news about Mega TV, Angie Perez, Poncho de Anda and Camilo Egana.
