The Folsom Police Department is asking for assistance identifying persons of interest in a robbery investigation.

On May 1st, 2008 Folsom Police Officers responded to a ‘911’ call regarding a residential robbery that had just occurred in the 200 block of Sierra Oak Court. The 24 year old female victim reported having been approached in front of her residence by a male suspect armed with a handgun who announced his intent to rob the victim.

The suspect ordered the victim into her home at gunpoint and began collecting property to remove from the residence. A female suspect then entered the home and began assisting the male suspect. After obtaining various pieces of property from the home and from the victim’s person the suspects fled the scene in a newer, white sedan. Investigating officers and Detectives believe the car was driven by a third subject.

The suspect with the handgun was described as an African-American male, in his mid-20’s, approximately 5’10” with a thin build. His head was shaved and he had no facial hair. The second suspect was an African-American female in her mid to late 20’s with a medium build. She wore her hair in a ponytail.

Folsom Detectives believe the African-American male in the tan baseball hat and the African-American female in the pink sweatshirt displayed in the photographs are in possession of items taken in the robbery and are persons of interest in the investigation.

Anyone with information regarding this crime or who can identify the subjects in the photographs is urged to contact Det. Robert Challoner at 916-355-7209 or We-Tip at 1-800-78-CRIME.
