Fred Goodall Participates in Fathers Day Chats with Dads

Fred Goodall, publisher/editor-in-chief of Mocha Dad and fatherhood advocate, is participating in the Doc and Austin Rivers Fathers Day Chats with Dads.

Fred started Mocha Dad to chronicle his life as a father and to counter the negative stereotypes regarding black fatherhood. Now he uses the blog to not only capture his personal experiences as a father, but also to help motivate other men to be more actively engaged and involved with their children, families, and communities.

Today is the last Google+ Hangout On Air event in the week long Fatherhood series where dads gathered to talk about major topics in modern fatherhood. Today’s chat will be a chat with a NBA father-son duo, Doc and Austin Rivers, and top dad bloggers who will be discussing the importance of a strong male figure in the lives of children. Doc Rivers is the head coach of the Boston Celtics, and Austin Rivers plays for the New Orleans Pelicans.

Fred is a moderator for the Google+ Fatherhood Community and will be discussing the relationship between the NBA father-son duo and if Doc Rivers always new his son would play basketball. The live video will be streaming live to the Men’s Journal G+ page, the Event Page, and their YouTube Channel.
