Trump’s People Are From Business Backgrounds and Not Something Else

The last few years of this country’s history have not been sterling. Those responsible for running this nation have been adequate at best. But things are looking up in terms of who is watching the cost of government and having keen business sense.

It is interesting to see what these men and women are up against. The kind of mess this country has found itself in with bad business decisions and runaway political ideology that portends that tax money is endless and flowing.

Here are some amazing statistics to ponder. Be sure to read through all of them to get the totality of the situation and what is now being done.

1. These ten states now have more people on welfare than they do employed:

California
New Mexico
Mississippi
Alabama
Illinois
Kentucky
Ohio
New York
Maine and South Carolina

2. Last month, the Senate Budget Committee reported that in fiscal year 2012, between food stamps, housing support, child care, Medicaid and other benefits, the average U.S. Household below the poverty line received $168.00 a day in government support.

That would be a figure that might go unnoticed except for one fact: The average household income in America is just over $50,000, which averages out to $137.13 a day. What that means is being on welfare now pays the equivalent of $30.00 an hour for a 40-hour week, while the average real job pays $24.00 an hour.

3. Presidential administration cabinets with actual business experience. The percentage of cabinet members in each administration with prior real world business experience. That means a real-life business, not a government job.

Here are the percentages:

38% Theodore Roosevelt (1901-09)
40% Howard Taft (2009-13)
52% Woodrow Wilson (2013-21)
49% Warren Harding (1921-23)
48% Calvin Coolidge (1921-29)
42% Herbert Hoover (1929-1933)
50% Franklin Roosevelt (1933-45)
50% Harry Truman (1945-1953)
57% Dwight Eisenhower (1953-61)
30% John Kennedy (1961-63)
47% Lyndon Johnson (1963-69)
53% Richard Nixon (1969-74)
42% Gerald Ford (1974-77)
32% Jimmy Carter (1977-81)
56% Ronald Reagan (1981-89)
51% George H. Bush (1989-93)
39% Bill Clinton (1993-2001)
55% George W. Bush (2001-2009)
08% Barack Obama (2009-2017)
90% Donald Trump (2017 – )

This greatly helps Americans understand the past eight years. The gross incompetence of a government run mostly by men and women who had never met a payroll, run a small business or hired a single employee. The Obama administration was run by people who had no understanding of how money is made, not spent.

Eight percent was by far the worst percentage in over 100-years of presidential cabinets. These were the people trying to tell America’s corporations how to run their businesses. How could Obama, president of a major nation and society, the one with the most successful economic system in world history, stand and talk about business when he’s never worked for one?

That doesn’t even mention the fact he never had a job. Most of his advisors were from academia, government, and/or non-profit jobs or as “community organizers.”
