Colorado Springs Air Show Live Talk Show Event Lets Heroes Talk

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The 2008 Colorado Springs Air Show, held at the Old Colorado Springs Airport, Saturday October 4, 2008 11am (MST) is the venue for a Talking with Heroes Internet Special LIVE Talk Show program.

Shane Gibson and James Fry (Colorado College Student) Co-Founders of a new Social Networking site called Defenders Own for Military Personnel, their families and Veterans.

Jenn Page is the SoldiersAngels.org Colorado VA Hospital State Leader and she is the Proud Army Sister of 2 brothers.

Gregory Wawrytko thirty year Army Veteran retired as the Personnel Sergeant Major for Fort Carson and the 4th Infantry Division and is now Colorado Springs VFW Post 101 Commander.

Xavior Robinson, Iraq Veteran who was based at Ft Carson and is now a Program Associate and Assistant to recently Retired Ft Carson CSM Terrance McWilliams at Colorado Springs El Pomar Foundation

Kyle Seibolt, will talk about his Four Deployments to Iraq. He is now with Veterans for Udall.

Mindi Walker with Colorado Springs based The Home Front Cares an all volunteer, not-for-profit corporation that provides emergency financial assistance, goods and services to families of Active Duty, Activated Reserves and National Guard troops based in Colorado serving in harm’s way.

TalkingWithHeroes will also show recent interviews with Terrance D. McWilliams CSM, USA, Ret. was the Command Sergeant Major and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commanding General of Fort Carson and now Director of Military Support El Pomar Foundation; Major General Mark A. Graham, US Army, Commanding General, Division West (First Army) and Fort Carson; Carol Graham wife of Major General Mark A. Graham. She tragically lost her youngest son Kevin, who was studying to be an Army doctor when he died by suicide on June 21, 2003, and her oldest son Jeffrey who was killed while leading his platoon on a dismounted patrol in Khaldiyah, Iraq on 19 February 2004; also recently returned from Iraq Major Davis with the Colorado National Guard, and recently Retired from Ft Carson CSM Pete VanDyke.

TalkingwithHeroes will also show hours of footage at the air show from our last trip to Iraq including being embedded with Ft Carsons 2BCT in Eastern, Baghdad. This will include convoys, with Iraqis and more.

The Talking with Heroes Talk Show program is not about politics. It is about offering our military personnel an opportunity to share their stories and helping to support our men and women in the military while they are deployed and to support their families back home. Talking with Heroes has been interviewing military personnel, military support and veterans groups, family members and others who support our troops since Dec. 2005.
