Colorado Springs Air Show Live Talk Show Event Lets Heroes Talk

Colorado Springs, Colorado – The 2008 Colorado Springs Air Show, held at the Old Colorado Springs Airport, Saturday October 4, 2008 11am (MST) is the venue for a Talking with Heroes Internet Special LIVE Talk Show program.

TalkingWithHeroes will also show recent interviews with Terrance D. McWilliams CSM, USA, Ret. was the Command Sergeant Major and Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Commanding General of Fort Carson and now Director of Military Support El Pomar Foundation; Major General Mark A. Graham, US Army, Commanding General, Division West (First Army) and Fort Carson; Carol Graham wife of Major General Mark A. Graham. She tragically lost her youngest son Kevin, who was studying to be an Army doctor when he died by suicide on June 21, 2003, and her oldest son Jeffrey who was killed while leading his platoon on a dismounted patrol in Khaldiyah, Iraq on 19 February 2004; also recently returned from Iraq Major Davis with the Colorado National Guard, and recently Retired from Ft Carson CSM Pete VanDyke.

TalkingwithHeroes will also show hours of footage at the air show from our last trip to Iraq including being embedded with Ft Carsons 2BCT in Eastern, Baghdad. This will include convoys, with Iraqis and more.

The Talking with Heroes Talk Show program is not about politics. It is about offering our military personnel an opportunity to share their stories and helping to support our men and women in the military while they are deployed and to support their families back home. Talking with Heroes has been interviewing military personnel, military support and veterans groups, family members and others who support our troops since Dec. 2005.

Technical Expertise

Alan is also a techie. His father was a British soldier in the 4th Indian Division in WWII, with Sikhs and Gurkhas. He was a sergeant in signals and after that, he was a printer who typeset magazines and books on his linotype machine. Those skills were passed on to Alan and his brothers, who all worked for Telecom Australia, on more advanced signals (communications). After studying electronics, communications, and computing at college, and building and repairing all kinds of electronics, Alan switched to programming and team building and management.

He has a fascination with shooting video footage and video editing, so watch out if he points his Canon 7d in your direction.
