Iraqi Security Forces and Marines, Soldiers and Sailors from Regimental Combat Team 2 continued Operation Bawwabatu Annaher (River Gate) in the cities of Haditha, Haqlaniyah and Barwana.
Security Forces were attacked with a roadside bomb in Haditha, with wiring from inside Qaryat al Khadfah mosque. Artillery rounds, ready for use as roadside bombs, were hidden on the mosque grounds.
