Charles Wachira is a journalist based in Kenya, East Africa. He is eclectic and writes about disparate issues including but not limited to agriculture, business, oil & Gas, climate change, global politics, gender relations, human rights, media relations, sports, wildlife conservatory, education, tourism, technology and terrorism. A former East Africa Correspondent with Bloomberg Lp, he also has had a working relationship with the Washington Post and Christian Science Monitor newspapers and World Politics Review(WPR). Presently, he writes for The Banker, a monthly affiliated to the Financial Times newspaper, based in the UK. He studied at the University of Nairobi, and has a BA in history and Sociology including MA in journalism and media studies from the same institution. With 14-years journalistic experience, he resides in Nairobi, Kenya's capital with his family. He is peripatetic, loves the outdoors and a keep-fit adherent.
