I was still in high school when I noticed, or thought I noticed, a similarity between photographs of the Parisian poet and the Ohio soldier.

Ever since 15, Isiah has been writing poetry in his journal. With no intention of sharing them. Some of the poems are painful, but most of them are things. That he felt needed to be touched on.
