ULFA Claims Responsibility for Numaligarh Refinery Fire

Paresh Baruah led anti-talk faction United Liberation Front of Asom claimed responsibility for the Numaligarh refinery fire incident.

In a statement issued by the outfit group claimed responsibility for the major fire incident on Saturday evening around 6:40 pm.

ULFA said the remote-controlled explosion was triggered by the group on its mark of raising day.

“Magnetic time device was used in the blast,” said in the statement.

A major fire broke out at the hydrocarbon plant of the refinery and later it was brought under control.

Meanwhile, Assam police said it was an industrial accident and cause of the fire will be come to light very soon.
