Swift Group of Colleges Ties Up With UK University

SWIFT GROUP OF COLLEGES has been chosen by one of the top universities of United Kingdom to be its Indian partner in higher education.

The English-based University specialises in graduate courses and has been searching for a “suitable collaboration partner for the last few years in India. The SWIFT GROUP OF COLLEGES was selected for the partnership programme after considerable quality testing.

The MoU provides for an exchange by which a BSc post-basic programme in nursing degree will be awarded by the British university to qualifying students from the Indian college. The College has tied with the UK University offering courses like B.sc (Hon) Nursing, BBA, BCA that will give the student a change to study abroad for last year and earn a foreign degree and saving money for initial 2 years in India.

Now, a student can complete a degree and earn a year’s salary in the time it would take you to study for the same undergraduate degree at a state-subsidised university. Or you could follow it with a Masters degree and be better qualified at the end of the three years than other graduates.

Students of Swift group of Colleges will study for their last year in UK and will get extended two years of work permit. Faculty members will also be exchanged to help “develop mutually beneficial programmes”.

The collaboration may also help fulfil UK’s growing need for qualified nurses and provide job opportunities for Indian nurses worldwide.
