Jewish People Smart Enough to Know One Thing About ‘Insane One-World Dream’

“When you’re finally up on the moon, looking back at the earth, all these differences and nationalistic traits are pretty well going to blend and you’re going to get a concept that maybe this is really one world and why the hell can’t we learn to live together like decent people?”- Frank Borman

Life is an interesting dynamic. Yesterday while standing in a jewelry store I struck up a conversation with two women. Talk of the economy became the focus and while they complained about current circumstances, one suddenly noted that if it weren’t for the fact that all those other people in the middle of the country were crazy, things would be better.

I had heard there were people who espoused such a divisive and insane two-coast philosophy, but had never actually heard it spoken.

“Don’t tell me you are one of those people who believe that only LA and New York matter and everyone else in between is unimportant,” I said.

“Well, they are all crazy and don’t matter.”

“I am from Michigan and I would like to think I matter,” I countered.

Embarrassed, she said, “Well Michigan, yes, you matter, but the others like in Iowa and those states in the middle are just crazies.”

And there you have it ladies and gentlemen. The truth, the lies, the insanity that proves proponents of this so-called one world nuttiness are living in a fool’s paradise and are seriously delusional.

One world. We are not even capable of becoming one United States.

But how does this nonsense affect the Jewish people?

The recent flood of anti Semitism in the world seems paradoxical when one considers the rise of Islamophobia.

One might believe that a reasonable person would surmise from watching the behavior of Muslim extremists such knowledge would highlight the problems the Jewish people face keeping the Land of Israel despite terrorism and war.

Yet, it doesn’t. In fact Israel is more maligned now than at any other time in history.

One world? Keep dreaming.

I suppose one could make an analogy about Nazism. When the terror of the Third Reich was leveled against Jews, the world watched. Many turned away believing it wasn’t any concern to them, some felt sadness, some anger. Yet, only when the US was forced to enter the war did Hitler’s destruction become a priority.

Can’t we all get along? Apparently not. So what is the answer when the world is battling against you?

Jewish people don’t fight back. Even now when the land of Israel is in danger of extinction, Jewish people bow to world pressure to make nice, play nice and appease those who are trying to destroy them.

It is obvious to me that Blacks in America would still be sitting on the back of the bus had not Rosa Parks refused to move her seat.

Only when Black people stood up and said no more, did the end of segregation begin.

I am not saying their cause was without resistance.

Many whites and black Americans were killed in the name of the movement, but had they not fought, nothing would have changed.

The mere fact that radical Islam is attacking the West is not enough to make the world change their opinion toward the Jewish people.

Jewish people must fight back.

The most interesting development hovering over the world’s head today is the concept of this insane global society. One world. How scary. This is a dangerous and misguided notion in these perilous times.

Proponents, and I strongly believe the President is among the avid supporters of this notion, adhere to the philosophy we would all be far better off had we no borders. No restraints, no boundaries.

To this notion I take great exception. Not on a personal basis, but on a psychological one. Boundaries are necessary for all human beings to exist. Without boundaries there are no limits. Since man is a creature inclined to take advantage of anything without restrictions, a world without borders would be the worst kind of disaster for Homo sapiens.

For Lord’s sake, have you ever seen what happens when you pass out free samples at Costco? Limits? I think not. Most people can’t put a bag of potato chips down until they’ve eaten the whole thing or it’s physically pulled from their salty, greasy fingers.

Children need structure, life needs structure and all great accomplishments have been perpetrated through rigid guidelines of study and analysis according to scientific principals.

A world that is a poor imitation of peace, love and rock and roll, where free love and free anything exist, would be doomed to failure on so many levels.

Even now when Israel cannot get the world to respect its borders, what might happen if this insane no- borders-world were to be perpetuated?

Would any country bordering Israel fail to take advantage of such a gift from humanity?

How long would Israel exist without doing battle? Five minutes, ten perhaps?

The United States at this very moment has chosen to open its borders to Mexico, although it’s being carried out covertly and in the most Schizophrenic manner.

Europeans who wish to come to America must wait for years, then file papers and pass stringent tests. Our southern border allows for no such requirements or regimentation.

Because of this open borders policy, Americans are being murdered, untold numbers of terrorists may be crossing over and settling in, and our coffers have been depleted caring for those who reap the rewards of a system to which they do not contribute financially.

How’s that one-world thing working out for a bankrupt California? Imagine this on a global scale.

Perhaps the most troubling aspect of this one-world theory is the one question no one ever asks? Who will govern this so called Utopia? Who will decide the rules, the choices, what and how we all live? Worship? Raise our children? Love and live our lives?

George Soros and his cache of uber-rich crazies who believe they can create some type of borderless Shangri la where everyone roams free like bison on the prairie, and respects one another, must be smoking the best crack on the planet.

We have not come nearly far enough as a species to quantify such a universal philosophy.

Man remains too primitive a warrior to allow self-government over his behavior or our countries.

Have you seen the way Congress behaves? Or the President stomping out of meetings like a petulant child? Are you kidding me? The maturity level of our leaders is a frightening display for even the most optimistic among us. I won’t even mention the idiot in North Korea who has the emotional level of a deranged two-year-old.

Mankind must reach a far higher state before such advancements to society can even be entertained in the most exploratory manner.

Jewish people are smart enough to know one thing about this insane one-world dream. Just like at the United Nations, any time humanity unites, it cannot be a good thing for the Jews. The U.N.’s anti Semitic policies prove this theory beyond all doubt. It seems the only uniting factor for mankind is a dislike of the Jews.

So as a Jew, I have serious reservations when people like Soros and Obama espouse this one world bull fest of rhetoric.

Check out the evidence.

Arabs cannot get along amongst themselves. They fight constantly with one another.

Even the British who fancy themselves so upper crest and well mannered, still find time to serve a healthy dose of anti Semitism with their daily serving of tea and crumpets. But they do espouse hatred so politely don’t they? How terribly civil of them.

Instead of disseminating all this one-world nonsense, perhaps we should try getting along as individual nations first. Respecting the borders that do exist before we decide to eliminate borders at all.

When man evolves to the point where he can stop hating, stop murdering, stop seeking power over his neighbors, stop battling about whose God is God, perhaps one world will naturally evolve as well.

Until that day, we exist in a complex world filled with dangerous factions, enemies and those who believe the only way to achieve their goals is to destroy everyone else.

I pray we arrive at this better place, this Utopia soon, or perhaps man won’t even exist to enjoy what he was finally able to achieve.

Norma Zager is a Jewish woman who lives in the USA.

In the series “Postcards from Israel,” Ari Bussel and Norma Zager invite readers throughout the world to join them as they present reports from Israel as seen by two sets of eyes: Bussel’s on the ground, Zager’s counterpoint from home.

Israel and the United States are interrelated – the two countries we hold dearest to our hearts – and so is this “point – counterpoint” presentation that has, since 2008, become part of our lives.
