World Cup: Argentina 4-1 South Korea, Higuain Nets Hattrick

asia

Argentina enjoyed their early kickoff against South Korea this afternoon but things could turned out different for them.

Higuain, who didn’t look too impressive in their first game, bagged three goals for Argentina in a match that ended 4-1. They were two up after half an hour when Korea put the ball into their own net following Higuain’s first, and all hope seemed lost.

Just after half time though Lee Chung Young scored for Korea and provided them with a small hope. They then looked to threaten for a draw and came close to squaring things up before Higuain secured the three points with another two goals.

Argentina move to the top of their Group and are now sure to qualify whilst South Korea eagerly await news of the game between Greece and Nigeria (played later) before they themselves go on to play Nigeria to see if they can get to the last 16.
