Benefit for World Champ: Emile Griffith

Emile
John Pennisi Illustration of Emile Griffith

One of boxing’s “All-Time Greats,” Emile Griffith has been tormented for almost 50 years since regaining the championship from Benny “Kid ” Paret in the brutal 12 round bout that resulted in Benny’s death. Now with only Social Security Benefits to make ends meet, Emile is in the fight of his life as he battles Pugilistic Dementia along with other health concerns.

With the initiative of long time friend Dave Selwyn, Illustrator John Pennisi created 112 limited prints of Emile Griffith (Emile’s total bouts). On metallic paper measuring 11 x14 and personally autographed by Emile, they are now available to the general public. Each print is numbered with fight opponent, date and result. With all proceeds going to Emile, you can purchase a piece of boxing history and help Emile at the same time.

To purchase a print, please make a check out to Emile Griffith for $99.95.
