Nancy Pelosi Leads Democratic Party in Full Retreat

Toxic Nancy Pelosi leads Democratic Party into the abyss.

It is becoming more apparent by the day that the Democratic Party is in full retreat. There have been five special House elections in the past few months. The Democrats have come up short on every one.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is the party scapegoat. But Republicans are selfishly hoping she remains in her present position.

Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich sums it up for the GOP. “I hope they keep Nancy for 10 more years,” Gingrich told Fox News’ “Fox & Friends” program. “I want her there for at least another decade. We know exactly how to run against the Nancy Pelosi-run party. We have no questions in 2018 if it’s Nancy Pelosi versus Paul Ryan, and I hope that the Democrats keep her right where she is for a long, long time; at least a decade.”

The Democrats are in full retreat. Their 11-month investigation about everything Trump has gone nowhere. Day after day there are more headlines outing new innuendo and accusations with no facts to back them up. Americans have grown tired of the obstructionist Democrats who have provided no ideas for the country and seem laser-focused on getting rid of Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, the Democrats have lost the House, Senate and presidency over a period of seven years. They are far behind in state governorships and statewide offices throughout the country and continue to lose power everywhere. Not to mention there is a new conservative on the divided Supreme Court.

But the special House election in Georgia may have been Pelosi’s Waterloo. It marked the largest Republican turnout ever, leading Karen Handel to a win over Democratic challenger Jon Ossoff. Each wanted to replace Tom Price, who left his congressional seat after becoming Health and Human Services secretary.

The DNC spent more to try toelect their 31-year-old candidate than any other congressional campaign in history. Handel was a good candidate who got better, while Ossoff did not live in the district where he was running.

The Democratic Party-friendly media called the election last month as a referendum on Trump. They won’t admit it, but so were the other four elections. They can’t come to grips with the fact that in five different specials they lost. The message is being heard, but it is vastly different from what most of the liberal media is selling.

Nancy Pelosi is a politician. Politicians react as their district wishes. In her case, it is ultra-liberal, Trump-hating San Francisco which is not a good indicator of the American electorate in any way, shape or form. She is out of touch with the country’s pulse. The Democrats need a different path before the far-left takes total control of the party and the ultimate demise is sealed.

The minority leader’s time has come and gone. She’s a great fundraiser, but the money is not winning elections which are seeing the wealthy donors beginning to get wary. She is an out-of-touch California liberal in a one-party state.

Whether the media allies of the DNC like it or not, the Republicans are winning and the “Russia strategy” is a lost cause. The entire country is sick of it and the ratings at CNN, MSNBC and other liberal outlets indicate the dramatic change. They have no message and it is abundantly clear.

Pelosi should have retired after Hillary Clinton lost the election. Democrats are finding just how little fun it is to be the distinct minority in Washington and the war drums are beating louder. If there is no change in the near future, look for ultra-liberal Elizabeth Warren to be the party’s presidential nominee in 2020.

Should that occur, the present mood will become nuclear winter as Warren brings down an entire party with her 20 percent voter base. Major alterations must begin now or the Democrats will face the fate of the buggy whip.
