Due to the nature of a particular story, the left-leaning media will not touch it. Why? That’s because it involves one of their own; former President Barack Obama. That does not fit the plan for their 24/7 Trump-hating monologue.
But it is a story worth looking at. Joseph Curl, a reporter at the Washington Times has been ignored for his stories on Obama’s cozying up with the very people he demonized for eight years; Wall Street. Not unlike the hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton’s constant diatribe against bankers, financiers and their respective institutions, there is money to be made from these people. At the same time, they talk out of the other side of their mouth to their worshiping minions.
The hysterical one-sided liberal media won’t cover the major money these liberal Democrats make from the same people they berate. It’s a must for them to appear as a common person or for the common people. The very same individuals who accumulate millions of votes with their two-toned approach to Wall Street treat Americans who bow to them as suckers. That’s what Obama, Schumer and Pelosi do.
Liberal journalists have their own rules. For instance, a conservative sex scandal is far more newsworthy than a liberal one. That shown the hypocrisy of the media. One person’s public comments are racist while another’s is dignified and gallant. This is the media deciding what things to tell the people and ans also telling them what to think.
Obama, Champion of Wall Street Greed
That leads back to Barack Obama, the champion of the less privileged. Bloomberg reported Obama spoke to clients of Northern Trust Corp. for about $400,000 and he “reminisced about the White House for Carlyle Group LP, one of the world’s biggest private equity firms.” On Monday, he gave a speech to them. How is that, after all he has said about evil Wall Street greed?
At least avowed Marxist Cornel West berated Obama for taking Wall Street money, because he didn’t take care of Americans. West didn’t roll over like Bernie Sanders did for Hillary Clinton and Obama.
The wire service Agence France-Presse reported the Cantor Fitzgerald speech was worth about $400,000. Mere chump change compared to the $70 million he and his wife received to write books. Will this all go to poor people that he calls himself the advocate of? Will he release the American taxpayers from his lifetime pension in the face of all the wealth and privilege? Yeah, right!
At Obama’s going rate on the chicken dinner circuit, just those three speaking engagements alone brought him $1.2 million. The man has been out of office nine months and the very people and institutions he railed against as president are paying him major fees to drop by and pontificate.
Silent Media Ignores News Unfavorable to Democrats
Where is the media? Would they be this silent were it former President George W. Bush, their hated devil himself? They are exposing their own raw hypocrisy. The one-sided left is 100 percent after their arch-enemy Donald Trump, no matter how fact-less it is.
Has one solid fact, one indictment, one prosecution occurred from 18 months on the Russia collusion investigation? Imagine what could be uncovered if the extreme media spent their resources merely probing the last eight years of Barack Obama’s administration. But only a racist would do that, right?
