(Part Four)
By the beginning of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, FBI Director James Comey was in the thick of it one way or another. He was orchestrating an investigation that would go nowhere, and he knew it.
Comey had to clear Hillary. The so-called investigation produced nothing. He had deliberately screwed up investigation of Hillary’s use of a private server and her plain violation of national security law on classified information. The investigation was deliberately mishandled in every aspect.
The FBI Director had to ensure the outcome. He provided immunity to virtually any of Hillary’s underlings who could provide valuable testimony. He did not use subpoenas or warrants, lost evidence, allowed the destruction of evidence, failed to do any searches or seizures of evidence, did not use a grand-jury, did not swear witnesses, did not record testimony and allowed attorneys to represent multiple suspects.
Never in the history of the Bureau had an investigation been so laughable. It could not have been handled in a more perfect way for Hillary Clinton.
What many legal experts considered an open and shut case of criminal corruption was a mess. Immunity was given to every witness even though they provided no help. While the private server was a case unto itself, attention was drawn away from the much bigger scandal of the Clinton Foundation.
Had that been properly investigated, it could have brought down innumerable corrupt politicians, lobbyists, and even foreign governments. But James Comey would have none of that, to the amazement of many veteran FBI investigators.
Comey had done his job. The Hillary investigation was botched from the beginning. He ruined any case against Hillary and her corrupt co-conspirators. Now was the time to turn the tide for his political friends.
Comey began to have candidate Donald Trump illegally wiretapped along with every important person in the Trump campaign. His orders to FBI agents in the field were to dig up dirt that could hurt the campaign. That included using a fake file paid for by the Clinton campaign to obtain authorization for surveillance into Trump’s campaign contacts with the Russians.
Comey said Obama did not order a wiretap on Trump Tower, but there was a lot he didn’t say. The media earlier reported wiretapping on Michael Flynn and Carter Page. So there was wiretapping.
The Republicans were monitored and spied upon by their own government. That included having all the information sent to the Obama White House and the Clinton campaign throughout the duration.
Where was the DOJ through all of this? Attorney General Loretta Lynch, another Obama appointment after Eric Holder resigned before being investigated for his own corrupt dealings, was supposed to complete the coverup. She would issue an order finding the Hillary investigation without useful findings.
But as coverups can sometimes go, they are botched too. Bill Clinton was caught by the media meeting with Loretta Lynch in Arizona shortly before she was supposed to make her decision on Hillary’s plight. How could the husband of someone under investigation be allowed to interfere by meeting with the Attorney General of the United States in private with no witnesses present?
There went Loretta Lynch’s credibility. Now Jim Comey had to take the helm to retake legitimacy. Not a problem. The Clintons owned him and he knew what his marching orders were; whatever is necessary to provide cover.
There should never have been any mystery what the outcome would be even though all involved expressed surprise. As Comey announced on live TV July 7th that Hillary was exonerated, she was on board Air Force One with the president en-route to a fundraiser in North Carolina.
Is there any doubt the president would have skipped that rally had he known she would be sprung by Comey? The FBI Director revealed some of the his bureau’s evidence of what Hillary did just to appear impartial. Then Comey quickly told a nationwide audience there was “no intent,” but the audience had just heard the opposite.
Hillary had survived again, or had she?
