House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi continues to star in her ongoing drama, “Rebel Without a Clue.” The shooting last Wednesday on an Alexandria, VA ball field had barely ended before the wild-eyed San Francisco liberal opened her vacuous mouth.
As a shocked Washington and nation cringed at the failed massacre of Republican lawmakers practicing for a charity softball event, Pelosi was busy keeping the political divide of the nation secure. Her post-shooting remarks were classic, clueless “Numbcy.”
There isn’t a pragmatic elected official in this country that doesn’t see the vitriolic rhetoric of the left as a possible motive for the deranged assassin’s motivation. It doesn’t take a lot to set off someone bent on national notoriety.
GOP Rep. Steve King of Iowa said “The violence is incited by the leading cultural voices of the Left.” Is this such a far-fetched conclusion considering the history of the shooter in question? He was a well-known agitator on the left devoted to former presidential candidate, socialist and far-left Senator, Bernie Sanders.
Typical of Pelosi’s shoot-from-the-hip style hysteria, the forced-smiling liberal shot back, “How dare they? … His mother said he just watches too much Fox TV. That’s what she said.”
Apparently the continuous critical remarks of Ms. Pelosi by President Trump, exasperated by her leaderless babble, enhanced her usual “insightful” commentary. Following the shootings, leave it to smiling Nancy to leave something bad in the swimming pool of bipartisan unity.
