This new year has seen a shooting at a courthouse, a factory and a school – this time it gets even more shocking.

A church in Richmond, California had its service stunned as three assailants opened fire on attendants. Fortunately, there were no deaths; however, two teens were injured. The boys, aged 14 and 19, are expected to recover.

According to CNN, police arrived at the New Gethsemane Church of God in Christ at 12:30 p.m. PT after three hooded men, described as in their late teens or twenties, opened fire at attendants of the service.
