Flavors and Joys of the Italian Spring Table

Just the thought of the flavors and traditions of Italy in the springtime are enough to have us imagining the aromas associated with them. Italian cooking instructor and cookbook author Franca Brida Lingren is preparing the food you are now imagining.

This light lunch of asparagus frittata with mixed spring greens, plus a sip of bellini, a Venetian tradition with a twist, will thrill your taste buds. Franca will demonstrate how to make a delightfully indulgent strawberry tiramisu (pick-me-up!).

Taste the classic Italian Pasqua (Easter) bread, the Colomba, or dove of peace, imported from Italy.

Franca recounts the joys of her springtime memories of growing up in Italy. Recipes of all these culinary delights will be provided. There are also lots of little surprises, including door prizes and a special treat as you leave.
