Celebrities Get Red Carpet Treatment in Folsom

Palladio 16 cinema opened last night in Folsom, California, with the Palladio 16 – Charity Sneak Peek. Celebrities attending walking down the red carpet after arriving by stretch limousines at the fabulously appointed Palladio Parkway.

Famous reporter John Gladding worked the red carpet, interviewing celebs as they arrived to announcements by local luminary, Jeff Starsky, on the stage at the end of the red carpet.

Master videographer, Michael Sato of satostudio.com, flew in from the Cayman Islands, after filming a new reality show there.

The world renowned Folsom Lake College band entertained at the head of the red carpet, with an eclectic mix of jazz and upbeat funk.

Several celebs tried to avoid the paparazzi who were running around to get the best pics for magazine editors. Kelly Brothers, the well-known television celebrity from nearby Sacramento tried to bypass the celebrity gossip reporters but was persuaded to comment about his next gig.

Local leading light Keri Howell was said to have just arrived back from Europe, but would not be drawn on the reason for the trip or even that she had been to Europe at all. Shutterbugs were all over that and will be digging for more information soon.

Laughter Works Celebrity funny man Jim Pelley and others attending incognito, from the Famous Folsom Lake Bank were caught on video, by pararazzi, who sneaked inside and could not be deterred.

Elusive artist Julie Bjorgum and a handsome man were spotted sneaking out of a stretch limo and tried to get to the red carpet without being noticed, but a local paparazzi recognized them and bailed them up before they could get to the carpet.

Councillor Ernie Sheldon was persuaded to talk to the gossip reporters, but his partner evaded them, bypassing questioners. The paparazzi, of course did not miss the opportunity to catch them on the red carpet.

Thousands of folsomites – and myfolsomites – crowded to get a glimpse of the celebrities and then, in true Folsom style, Palladio organizers allowed them to be the first to walk the red carpet, through the red ribbon and mix with the celebs inside.

The Myfolsom.com forums should be abuzz with local goss today.

Proceeds from the event went to The Mercy Foundation and Folsom Lake College Foundation.

If you might be interested in a DVD containing the complete edited video (probably around 30-40 minutes of HD video – especially if you know I videoed you, please let me know. If enough people are interested, I will do it, but I expect it will take around 6 to 8 hours work, so I don’t want to do it unless there is enough interest. Or I could find you on the uncut video and add you to the existing red carpet video above. – please let me know. Alan.)
