OJ Simson promoter and manager Norman Pardo is looking for a manager for himself, and recently contacted talent manager Bruce Edwin of Hollywood’s A-list talent management firm Starpower Management to be represented by the firm.

The Seething Enemies of OJ

Pardo wrote to Bruce Edwin that, “June 12th, 2014 is the 20th year anniversary of the trial of the century” and he states that he is “the only direct link to OJ Simpson.” He further states, “I traveled across America with the notorious O.J. Simpson, as his promoter / manager. We entangled everyone who crossed our path in a web of controversy, and spun a precarious friendship.” Pardo goes on to boast about how his camera captured never before seen footage of OJ’s “adoring fans, seething enemies, and his friends,” and how he “personally own(s)the largest collection of O.J. Simpson video footage in the world.”

The Murder Trial of OJ Simpson

in 1995, a civil court awarded the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman an award of over 33 million dollars due to the wrongful death suit against OJ Simpson due to the deaths of Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman which OJ Simpson was found liable to have to pay. Yet, to this date, he has reportedly paid little of that judgement demanded. OJ Simpson was accused of murdering his wife as well as Ronald Goldman. A jury let him off the hook, which many considering that he ‘got away with murder.’

The Crime Spree of OJ Simpson

In 1999, The State of California claimed Simpson owes $1.44 million in past due taxes. In February 2001, Simpson was reportedly arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida for battery and burglary. On December 4, 2001, the FBI searched the home of Simpson on suspicion of ecstasy possession and money laundering. The FBI had received a tip that O.J. Simpson was involved in a major drug trafficking ring after 10 other suspects were arrested in the case, according to Wikipedia. Investigators uncovered equipment capable of stealing satellite television programming, which eventually led to Simpson’s being sued in federal court.

As all of this wasn’t enough, On July 4, 2002, Simpson was arrested in Miami-Dade County, Florida for speeding through a manatee protection zone and failing to comply with proper boating regulations. In March 2004, satellite television network DirecTV, Inc. accused Simpson in a Miami federal court of using illegal electronic devices to pirate its broadcast signals. The company later won a $25,000 judgment, and Simpson was ordered to pay an additional $33,678 in attorney’s fees and costs.

OJ Simpson – Finally Behind Bars

Proving to many the theory that the guilty keep committing crimes until they get caught, In 2007, criminal OJ Simpson was found guilty of kidnapping and robbery, among more. In 2008, he was finally behind bars, sentenced to 33 years in prison, and eligible for parole reportedly within 9 years of the sentence. His lawyers have recently been – as usual, trying to spring him free.

Starpower Management CEO Bruce Edwin, who managed Michael Jackson guitarist David Williams, and got rock band kill hannah signed to Atlantic Records, among more states, “I had zero interest in OJ Simpson even before he was accused of murdering his wife – which I and many others still feel he is guilty of. After his joke of a trial, I had beyond zero interest in him. And, now that he is finally a convicted criminal, behind bars for his other recent crimes, the interest is even less still.” Bruce Edwin continues, “One could not pay me enough to have anything to do with or be connected with OJ Simpson. I want absolutely nothing to do with that criminal – no deal! My morals, values, and integrity can not be bought or sold, and I don’t care how rich or famous one is or their friend, family, or team is. If they are not good people – we are not interested. We have standards of professionalism, decency, and integrity here, and that will not change for any offer of more money or more fame.”
