The Price For Freedom: Pay The Price Or Suffer Bondage

freedom

Christians from the very beginning of this nation have been the footing, foundation and the corner stone of the United States of America.

It was those early Christians who sought freedom in a new land and wanted only to be free to escape the tyranny of the despots in Europe. They had religions that dictated to them what to believe.

Many people today find fault with the statements just made of Christians being the corner stone of our nation.

Today we see the following statistics of religions in the U.S.A.

78.4 % of the people in USA have Christian beliefs.

16.1% are unaffiliated with Christian religions or of other beliefs.

4.7 % have no religious beliefs and are agnostic or atheist.

.8% refused to answer.

Freedom has a price

If seventy-eight percent is the base of this nation then why is this nation’s spirit wounded and struggling? If Americans don’t think it is suffering they need to take another look.

We are in deep trouble with financial debt but also our love of God and nation seems to be dwindling.

One nation under God, In God we trust, and God help us, indicates our laws are taken from the 10 commandments and even congress has prayer before they start every session… This truth of our forefathers (our constitution was inspired of God) is being ignored by Politicians and by the Supreme Court.

It makes one wonder why they can ignore those who wrote, sustained with life savings, and died for this purpose, to establish a free nation with the blessing and approval of heaven?

How can we re-generate the love of God and country, if we have lost sight of why we are free? Only in a free society can Christianity flourish and grow. People flock to this nation not just to make money but to receive, or gain freedom, and choose liberty and justice…

The right to choose is a God given gift. Just like the young man on the path of life comes to the path of two ways and has to choose which path to take.

We as an relatively young nation must appreciate why those who came here for freedom to chose the rewards of freedom or the penalty of failure; so we too must decide for freedom or tyranny and be willing to pay the price.

There are no freebies in life. No one is going to give you what you want without struggling and paying the price. This

basic fundamental of life, is being trumped by governments that use the lottery to entice people to buy into the opposite result.

Our forefathers knew this value (a price) and left us this legacy; there is no gift of freedom unless you pay the price. We either pay the price or suffer the bondage. Freedom is a precious gift but if we fail to be thankful for its value, we will lose it.
