Serbia’s genocide in Srebrenica

In Srebrenica there were no maskenbal witches, but Serbia planned to kill Bosnian Muslims! The Serbian genocide on Bosnian Muslims (1992-1995) was committed to destroy them as a whole as an ethnic, national and religious group. This genocide was a violation of the international law under the United Nations Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948).

The Resolution of the European Parliament on July 9, 2015 condemned the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica in Bosnia where over 8000 thousand Bosnian Muslims were killed in Srebrenica on July 11, 1995.

The EU stressed that such genocide will never happen again. The European Parliament’s Resolution about the crime of genocide in Srebrenica was adopted in accordance with judgments of the International Criminal Tribunal, formerly the Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

It is true that Ratko Mladic is responsible for the Serbian crime of genocide committed in Bosnia against the Muslim population. He was only the commander and executioner of the 8237 Muslims in Srebrenica. However, the main instructors and strategists in this Nazi Hitler holocaust were the Serbian government. The Academy of Sciences and Arts and Serbian Orthodox Church were architects and strategists who by decades under Tito’s socialist regime(1945-1990) have planned, prepared, and ordered the Serbian genocide for extermination of the Muslim people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Serbia committed genocide not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but as well in Croatia and Kosovo (1990-1999).

America and Europe condemned the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica:

“On the occasion of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Serbian Genocide in Srebrenica (11 July 2015), Europe joined America, in face of the whole world, denouncing the exact by name and surname that in Srebrenica there was a Genocide committed by Serbs. “This the biggest war crime that happened in Europe after the Second World War. The European Parliament Resolution recalls that some 1, 200 residents of Srebrenica are still missing , and that thousands of women and children were deported, and many women wre raped.”europarl.europa.eu

In the context of the denouncing of the Serbian Genocide speaks and the statement of Federica Mogherini, High Representativ/Vice-President of the EU on the 20-th Anniversary Commemoration of the Srebrenica Genocide, held in Srebrenica, July 11, 2015:

“In the fields of Srebrenica was written the darkest page of Europe’s recent history.

“Today we commemorate all the victims, in the 20th anniversary of the massacre. Time and words cannot heal the pain of a mother who could not even lay her child to rest. But time and words can, today, remind us all what Europe is – should be – about.

“A whole generation hoped for a new era of peace after the Cold war. That is my generation: we dreamt of a united continent, and woke up to the gloomiest of nightmares.

“In Srebrenica, Europe is faced with its shame. Europe failed to stand up to the promise of our founding fathers and to the dreams of their grandsons: no more war in Europe, no more murders in the name of race or the nation. No more genocides.

“Srebrenica is a call to action. That action is: never let it happen again.

“Srebrenica tells us that the original intuition of our European Union is still valid and it is the only way to bring peace in our Continent. Dividing the peoples of Europe among “us” and “them” will only originate new conflicts.

“Christian and Muslim, Serb, Croat and Bosniak. Migrant and local. Aiming for “ethnically pure” states will not bring about peace. We need to make it possible for all communities to come together, not to tear apart. Our union is about living together.

“For these reasons, we are working with all the Western Balkans to keep on the European path. And all 28 Member States, all of the European Union institutions support the perspective of Bosnia and Herzegovina to become part of our Union. We hope – and we work – for a future of partnership, of justice, of reconciliation. For all the citizens of this country and of this part of Europe.

“In Srebrenica, we Europeans, fell. The one thing to do now, the only way to pay respect to these victims, is to rise again. And to do it in one of the most difficult times for Europe. Withhold the memory, work for reconciliation and for a European Union based on brotherhood and solidarity, and strong enough to face the many and difficult challenges we have inside our borders and all around us. For my generation to be the last one to witness and to live such tragedy in Europe.” Federica Mogherini

Russia didn’t punish Serbia in Srebrenica. According to international law and the UN Charter, neither de jure nor de facto is not a Serbian Republic, because it was created by force, aggression and genocide against the Bosnian Muslim people. This is the main reason why the Serb Republic must not be recognized by the European Union, nor the UN, because it is flagrantly inconsistent with the rules and principles of international law and the United Nation Charter. This is legal and factual material evidence uncontested under the International Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, adopted by the UN in 1948.

However, today, after 67 years, Russia and Serbia successor states are both stepping on the legal convention of the UN Charter, as well as the principles and rules of international law, by not condemning the Serbian genocide in Srebrenica.

Impunity of Serbian genocide in Srebrenica by Russia in the Security Council of the UN, is not only a shame and anti-humanism, but also a legal liability and international illegal act, which contradicts the United Nations Charter.

This is a shame and sin against Muslim victims of Serbian genocide, as well as the legal and moral responsibility before today’s international community and international legal state system.

Lastly,we should emphasize that the hand of peace of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, will be accepted only when his government, Parliament and the Presidency of Serbia, have denounced the commitment of Serbian genocide in Bosnia, Croatiaand Kosovo (1992-1999). Otherwise, there will never be sincere and peaceful reconciliation between Serbs, Croats, Muslim Bosniaks and Albanians in the Balkans.
