Nancy Pelosi Starting An Ugly Race War in Congress

We all know that politics is a dirty game. We have seen it many times. Dirty politics has been in play from the left, from the right and from all points in between.

Trashing the opposition’s reputation is often a sure-fire way of pushing them out of a race, especially when it can be linked to personal issues.

Today’s poster-child for dirty campaigning is Nancy Pelosi, the former House majority leader who constantly surprises people with her stupid remarks.

California democrat voters love Pelosi, lapping up every word she utters, no matter how stupid it may be. Her popularity in liberal San Francisco leads to the prediction that Nancy Pelosi Will Win This November Election

With the economy in the toilet, Obamacare destroying businesses, foreign policy in tatters, and blue states losing population like they have a disease to be escaped from, Democratic strategists have realized they don’t have much to crow about. Once politicians and their strategists realize they have nothing to offer, out come the knives and the dirty pool.

Nancy Pelosi has already started her dirty campaign that would be called, if it was being run by republicans, hate speech.

Pelosi had one ugly word she is trotting out. That word is “racism.”

Racism is a perfect word for liberals to brandish, because they think it can shut down any discussion of the issues. To avoid the real issues, Nancy Pelosi is now insinuating that “some” Republicans are racists.

It doesn’t matter to Pelosi that she isn’t naming names, that she has no proof and that there are plenty of black and hispanic republicans. If Pelosi really had something, she would be naming names.

A leading black Republican strategist says Pelosi is attempting to start “an ugly race war” in Congress. That strategist is Ron Christie, a former member of Vice President Dick Cheney’s staff. In The Daily Beast, Christie said Democrats will “stop at nothing to consolidate their perks and power, by smearing Republicans and by accusing them of being racist.”

Christie wrote “Cynical Race-Baiting Will Fail to Save Democrats.” Christie laughed at the latet stupid democrat tactic. Democrats are now saying that “Republicans must be racist for resisting calls by the Democrats and President Obama to pass comprehensive immigration reform.”

Their obvious aim is to paralyze debate, halt free speech and change any discussion that is not going their way. Christie referred specifically to Pelosi’s statement last week, reported by Politico, in which she said Republicans didn’t want to make immigration a campaign topic in the House because of racism.

Christie, the CEO of Christie Strategies, a communications management firm in Alexandria, Va. and professor at George Washington University noted that Pelosi’s comments were quickly followed by more outlandish remarks (see video) from Democratic New York Rep. Steve Israel, head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

“What makes the comments of Pelosi and Israel particularly reprehensible is that they offer no evidence of such scurrilous accusations,” Christie said. “This November I predict American voters will render judgment on Democrat attempts to divide the country on racial lines in a cynical attempt to cling to power. By seeking to exploit our ugly past with racial bigotry for political advantage, Democrats should be prepared to have their proverbial chickens come home to roost.”

Ron Christie wasn’t the only one shaking his head about the stupidity of democrats using this weak argument. George Will, speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” said, “Liberalism has a kind of Tourette’s syndrome these days. It’s just constantly saying the words racism and racist.”

The upside is we only have to wait until November to see if this weak but dirty tactic works. The downside is that they have no other issues to talk about, so we will have to suffer their asinine rhetoric for another seven months.
