Is Obama Bowing To Iran Now?

Maybe it’s the failure of Obamacare that has caused this ridiculous move, but here we go into another adventure.

Much to the amazement of our Middle East allies, the White House has begun easing economic sanctions on Iran – many feel those sanctions have prevented them from creating a nuclear bomb.

The crippled president, under the hammer from the disastrous rollout of his premier healthcare plan, Obamacare, said that his “chat” with Hassan Rouhani by telephone in September, according to State Department documents, “paved the way” to loosening sanctions.

In the past, the United States has blacklisted individuals and companies that helped Iran evade international sanctions. That blacklisting made it very difficult for them to operate, and greatly reduced their capacity to make money or import certain goods and funnel them into their nuclear program. Since Rouhani’s election on June 14, The Daily Beast reports, Obama has moved forward with lifting sanctions.

Israel is not happy with Obama’s position, which recklessly assumes that Iran’s Rouhani is a moderate and actually has some kind of control over what the mullahs do.

Allies are concerned that Obama is giving up a lot, while Iran gives nothing. In a telling rejection of Obama’s actions and words, France says it would not accept a “sucker’s deal.”

Since his reelection, Obama and his administration have been doing less than ever to prevent Iran from moving forward with their desire to go nuclear.

A Treasury Department spokesman told the Daily Beast, “In the months since the Iranian election we have continued to pursue our unwavering goal of preventing Iran from obtaining a nuclear weapon, We have not let up on vigorous sanctions enforcement one iota. This includes new designations of sanctions evaders as well as other steps to address potential sanctions evasion.”

Negotiations to curb Iran’s nuclear efforts are in their third day on Saturday. Reminiscent of the 1938 Munich agreement with Hitler, “officials are optimistic, but said there still is no certainty of a deal.”

Really?

President Obama told NBC News on Thursday, “The negotiations taking place are about how Iran begins to meet its international obligations and provide assurances not just to us but to the entire world, they are not about easing sanctions.”

Israel, Saudi Arabia and Turkey look on with surprise.

Ironically, since then, Treasury has only issued two designation notices, identifying only six people and four companies for violating sanctions.

Huh?

Incredibly the White House has been giving Iran sanctions relief in another way.

The “brain” group has worked with Congress and the White House to develop the current Tehran sanctions.

It sounds like Obama decided to enter the Persian nuclear bazaar to haggle with the masters of negotiation and has had his head handed to him.

It seems the only player in the Middle East capable of handling this coming chaos is Israel.
