In Honor of a Good Friend, ‘Jordan’

opinions-1

This article is in honor of a very good friend and family. We love them and hope for the best for them at such a trying period in their lives.

The shadows of time stretch along the path of life that each person walks during their journey of life. Some make lasting impressions and others, their foot prints now faded but still give evidence they were here on earth and walked, lived and passed away into the shadows of time. Everyone’s journey’s on the path of life is governed by time but each person’s journey varies with different conditions and struggles.

Because in the shadows of time hide the evil tempters of life that cause some to wander away from the ever-lighted path. Each and every person who lives in this world faces different temptations that may lure them off the path into the dark and lonely unknown world. But the light of hope keeps shining for man that they may again find the light and return to their original journey and from whence they came, a Loving Father in Heaven.

I would very much like to highlight the footprints of one man on his life’s journey. He certainly wasn’t an Abraham Lincoln nor a Louis Pasteur, nor a George Washington but a very good honest man whose footsteps are fresh and very visible. Many of us travel through life thinking we accomplish very little and nothing of great import or of note.

I’m sure Jordan would say the same about his life. Nothing spectacular has happened nor does he think he did any great deed or captained any cause for mankind or for history, to honor him.

His legacy is in the footsteps of his short but remarkable life. He found the Gospel and loved the Lord more than most who have lived long lives. He walked straight, true, and faithful to the teaching of God and in time maybe we too may enjoy our journey on the Path of time as much as Jordan loved his experience.

May we as friends and family live worthy lives that we too may again enjoy his friendship in life Eternal with Jordan and the Lord.

Love and best wishes to his family, friends and our deepest love and sympathy.
