Harry Reid Calls in Al Gore to Fend off Conservative Women, Angle and Lowden

opinions

With grassroots tea party conservative, Sharron Angle and former Nevada GOP Chair, Sue Lowden breathing down his neck, Nevada Democrat Harry Reid called in Al Gore to raise more money for his TV and radio ad fund.

According to a Politico report yesterday, a group of wealthy socialites in Silicon Valley gathered at a Reid fundraiser.

Gore, who allegedly organized, but did not attend the fundraiser, has many Silicon Valley contacts, and is an Apple board member and a Google advisor.

Whether Nevada citizens like it or not, California money will apparently play a part in bombarding their airwaves over the next few days, possibly with attack ads.

Conservative groups backing Sharron Angle said they are doing some money-raising of their own, to assist Angle’s “Defeat Harry Reid” campaign, but probably not in denominations as large as those for Reid.

There isn’t much time for any of the candidates to bombard the airwaves, thankfully, as the election is Tuesday.
