Crossfire War – Russia Removes Workers from Bushehr Nuclear Reactor – Iran

Yelling opinions.

Crossfire War – RAPID FIRE NEWS=MOSCOW – PARIS – BERLIN WATCH – Eurasia Theatre: Moscow – Paris – Berlin – London – Washington – Yerevan – Baku – Sukhumi – Tskhinvili/Tbilisi – Baghdad – Ankara – Tehran; Russia Withdrew Nuclear Technicians From Bushehr Sept. 28 Away From Line of Fire of Iran Offensive on UK/US Bases in Region – Washington Planning Belated Attack – Serbia President States Terrorist Bases in Northern Macedonia

Night Watch: BUSHEHR – A few years ago, when U. S. President George W. Bush was discussing attacking Iran as an “option on the table” someone from Iran’s Defense Ministry stated they will not let Washington attack first. The official’s statement was not surprising since Tehran’s foreign policy, coupled with the nature of Jihad is offensive and that is how Tehran intends to maintain the initiative. As another indication, (f)allout war is near Debka today reports that on Friday Sept. 28, Moscow withdrew all of the Russian technicians from the Iranian nuclear reactor still under construction at Bushehr on the Persian Gulf. Moscow has deliberately delayed the project’s completion, for several years, because Tehran has been actively supporting Islamic groups in the North Caucasus that have been fighting Russia since 1994 and for more than a year Tehran has increased its relations with Georgia in the South Caucasus for the same purpose. Moscow never intended to complete the project until after the war against Tehran is over. [DEBKA]

It is no coincidence this move was made less than a week after the private visits of former France President Jacques Chirac and former German Chancellor Gerhard Shroeder to Russia President Vladimir Putin (Sept. 23) at the Black Sea resort of Sochi. As crossfirewar.com stated at the time it was an acknowledgement Tehran was never interested in any negotiated settlement to its nuclear weapons program, or in cornering the market in salt in the Dead Sea, and always intended to use its ballistic missiles and nuclear weaponry mostly against Iran’s main international rival Europe-U. S. The other target of economic priority being India, in support of Pakistan and the Muslims in Kashmir. Recently, not only has Tehran lifted the veil of great relations with Delhi, but at the same time has been completing preparations to attack the UK/US bases in Iraq, enter the war against Israel and to keep the West busy and on the defensive Iran is going to have war resume in Southeast Europe by assisting any group there ready to re-start it whether Albanian-Serbian or both.

The only Allied government in any position to respond offensively is Moscow, which is why Russia has been re-activating its strategic bombers and practicing joint operations with Allied air forces. Debka’s source for the news on Moscow’s removal of its technicians was the Khorramshar News Agency, a news service of the Arab community in Iran’s southwest Khuzestan province that borders Iraq at the Persian Gulf.

Pentagon – “They’re moving everybody to the Iran desk. They’re dragging in many analysts and ramping up everything. It’s just like the fall of 2002.” That was a quote from a retired CIA official in an article by New Yorker columnist Seymour M. Hersh. It is an excellent description of Washington’s belated and haphazard offensive planning of attacking Iran, something that should have been done years ago because Bin Laden can’t arrange anything like flight school training, but Washington and Europe weren’t looking for World War III when the Ayatollah Khomeini was sent back from Paris to replace the Shah of Iran in 1979. Industrial groups in the West only wanted Khomeini to create disturbances between Russia and Iran in order to justify Russia re-occupying Iran as it did during World War II, which is why the Shah’s father abdicated in 1941. Communist labor is inexpensive, therefore reducing the cost oil exported from Iran to the West. [NEWYORKER]

Skopje – MakFax reports Serbia President Boris Tadic recently charged there are terrorist camps in northern Macedonia, implying they are a threat to Serbia especially since Albanian nationalists opposed to the Serbian government in Belgrade are active in the area. The same units are opposed to the Macedonia government in Skopje and are probably the ones that have been attacking Macedonian police check points and stations since August. Macedonia President Branko Crvenkovski responded, “It is true there is increased activity of individuals and groups, who, driven mostly by criminal motifs, are crossing the Macedonia-Kosovo border frequently. These groups and their activities are closely watched by our competent services, whose assessments suggest that they pose no threat to the security situation.” [MAKFAX]

Belgrade will not be satisfied with this response and realizes Albanian nationalists are crossing into Serbia with weaponry easily obtained in Macedonia. Before Serbia, which has heavily re-armed with Russian assistance attacks the bases, Belgrade may first propose a joint operation to destroy the camps with Skopje, knowing the Macedonian government will refuse, though it is possible some Macedonian police units on their own may agree to work independently of the Macedonian government. I will be extremely surprised if Belgrade does not begin an operation to do so before this month is over. The longer Belgrade waits the stronger Albanian nationalists become.
