Mega TV To Present Renowned Soap Opera:’dos Caras’ (two Faces)

Spanish Broadcasting System (“SBS”) (NASDAQ: SBSA) announced today that its television division, Mega TV will soon broadcast the popular Brazilian Soap Opera from Globo TV, “Dos Caras.” The soap opera will debut on Monday, November 30, 2009 and will air every Monday through Friday at 6:00 P.M. (ET)/ 3:00 P.M. (PT) and 6 PM in Las Vegas.

The renowned soap opera, “Dos Caras” is about a successful businessman, Marconi Ferraco, who was born with a different face and a different name, Adalberto Rangel. As Adalberto Rangel, he met and seduced Maria Paula, a young heiress traumatized by the death of her parents. With an arrogant attitude and a cold heart, Adalberto married Maria, stole her fortune, and abandoned her; unaware she was carrying his child. Ten years later, accompanied by her son Renato, Maria Paula plots to recover her dignity and to find justice by getting revenge against the indignities done to her by Adalberto.

In order to expose this man, she must confront an even stronger enemy: Ferraco’s fiance Silvia, who is beautiful and rich, but as vile as him, if not worse. Maria Paula, however, finds support in the charismatic figure Juvenal Antena, a community leader bent on fighting Ferraco at all costs. Juvenal and Silvia’s mother, Branca, President of a prestigious University, help Maria Paula obtain the revenge she so desperately seeks. In life, everything has two sides, two faces, two versions.
