Boys Like Girls Sophomore Album ‘Love Drunk’ Debuts In Billboard Top 10

It is easy to see that Boys Like Girls have plenty of Love Drunk fans! The group’s sophomore album – Love Drunk – debuted at #8 on the Billboard’s Top 200 Albums Chart with more than 40,000 albums sold.

The title track, which is also the band’s first single, shot up the Top 40 Radio chart, to #12 to go along with 13 new adds this week, including WKSC/Chicago and WWWQ/Atlanta.

They should he really happy to see the single, “Love Drunk” sold more than 600,000 tracks since its release two months ago.

Jimmy Kimmel Live

Boys Like Girls’ release week started on Jimmy Kimmel Live, on September 8th. It ended with a free hometown area concert at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. Lead singer Martin Johnson performed the National Anthem at their Monday Night Football home opener on Monday.

Love Drunk gained glowing reviews from People Magazine, Alternative Press, The New York Times, and Billboard Magazine who wrote … ” … these songs will be heard for many years to come.”

The band always sees their biggest critics as the fans that supported them over the past three years. BLG plans to thank those fans with a live and interactive performance through Facebook September 16th at 7pm. With the support of Livestream, the band will both perform new songs and take questions from fans in real time throughout their performance which can be viewed by all BLG Facebook fans’ news feeds.

Headline Tour
