And in an offspring bid to fill the formidable shoes each, of Roberto Rossellini and Ingrid Bergman, and John Cassavetes and Gena Rowlands.

Dead World Order: What do the symbolically laden shiny objects of an 18th century Paris history museum have to do with slave ships, colonialism, Hitchcock’s Psycho, and the Israeli occupation of Palestine? Israeli director Dana Levy weighs in with her short film, part of the Tribeca Film Festival this year.

The Tribeca Film Festival is a yearly event throughout Lower Manhattan in New York City beginning April 17th this year, and spotlighting dramatic features, documentaries, foreign films, shorts, free outdoor screenings, panel discussions and lectures. The festival was originally inaugurated to promote the cultural revival of New York City after 9/11.
