Including Richard Gere starring as a homeless man in the dramatic feature Time Out Of Mind, that may not actually be so much about the homeless; a somewhat feminist Confederacy thriller that may be less about the US Civil War than say, Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs; and Mr. Turner, a dramatic biopic about the eminent 19th century British painter. But in effect disappearing and missing a main point about his life as an abolitionist, along with his most historically important painting exposing the horrors of the Middle Passage – Slavers Throwing Overboard The Dead And Dying. When British slave traders did just that, to collect insurance money taken out on the kidnapped Africans.
