Welcome the Summer with this Cherry Berry Kombucha Smoothie

Summer is just around the corner and people certainly need something refreshing like this cherry berry kombucha smoothie.

Basking under the sun while enjoying the seemingly endless beach and pool parties is totally fun. However, every now and then everyone will feel the need for a refreshing drink. This is the case even when choosing to stay at home all summer long. Now, wherever summer escapades take an individual, they can easily make this cherry berry kombucha smoothie. Besides, there are portable smoothie makers that people can bring anywhere.

Cherry-Berry Kombucha Recipe

Bring on the fun with this insanely refreshing smoothie recipe that kids and adults alike will love!

Ingredients:

1 ½ cup frozen cherries

½ cup Health-Ade Kombucha, cherry berry flavor

3 tablespoons honey

1 ½ cups full fat coconut milk

A pinch or two of sea salt

½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3 ounce good quality melted dark chocolate

Directions:

Cook the cherries and 1 tablespoon honey in a medium-sized pan under medium heat. Stir regularly as when breakomg down the frozen cherries using the back of the spoon. Continue stirring until the mixture becomes jammy. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and allow it to cool.

Mix the vanilla extract, coconut milk, and 2 tablespoons honey in the same pan under low heat. Stir until totally combined and warm. Remove from pan then put aside.

Put the cooled cherry berry mixture and coconut mixture in the blender or portable smoothie maker. Add ½ cup Health-Ade Cherry Berry Kombucha and blend. Put 5 ice cubes and blend again until smooth.

Serve in a nice cocktail glass and drizzle with melted dark chocolate. A cherry can also be added for a topping.
