Mega TV Official Broadcaster of The ‘Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2009’

SBS Radio Properties in Puerto Rico are the main recruiters and broadcasters of the Pageant

Spanish Broadcasting System (NASDAQ: SBSA) (SBS) announced today that Mega TV Puerto Rico, its Network and affiliates will be the official medium to broadcast the “Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2009” beauty pageant and any related programming of the famous event. Additionally, SBS radio properties in Puerto Rico, WMEG-La Mega 106.9 FM, WODA-Reggaeton 94.7 FM, WZNT-La Zeta 93.7 FM, WIOA-Estereotempo 99.9 FM and WCMA-Red 96.5 FM, will be the exclusive radio stations in charge of recruiting contestants and promoting the pageant.

The “Miss Mundo Puerto Rico 2009” beauty pageant is in its seventh year, and this year’s competition will take place on Thursday, July 23 in San Juan Puerto Rico at the famous TAPIA Theater. Historically, in the international arena, Puerto Rican “Miss Mundo” pageant candidates have always placed in the top positions.
