Madonna’s Former Talent Manager Caresse Henry Passes On

Talent Manager Bruce Edwin, who managed the late musician David Williams, who toured the world with Madonna and played guitar on her album Papa Don’t Preach, in addition to playing for Michael Jackson, reports that Madonna’s former business and personal manager Caresse Henry passed away on March 31st, 2010.

Bruce Edwin, who was friends with Mr. Williams- who passed on less than a year before Michael Jackson- reports; “David always had great things to say about Madonna, as well as her team of Liz and Caresse; he had love for them all, and always spoke of how kind they were to him, like family.”

Bruce Edwin, whose late friend, musician Rozz Williams passed on in 1998 also on March 31st, states, “It is sadly ironic when the cause of one’s death is suspected of being suicide on April Fool’s Day.” Caresse Henry, 44, of Laguna Beach, California died suddenly on March 31st in Irvine, California. The cause of death, suspected by some as suicide, has not been determined and is currently under investigation.

Born in Los Angeles, Ms. Henry managed Madonna’s career for ten years. She went on to briefly manage Ricky Martin, Jessica Simpson, Joss Stone, and Paula Abdul among more. Ms. Henry is survived by her two children, Honour and Ava, her sister and brother-in-law, her mother Angelica, and her father Patrick.

Madonna, saddened by the news, may postpone her upcoming travels. Madonna and her family have had plans to travel to Malawi, South Africa, next week to visit several sites for orphans, and other vulnerable children that she and her charity organization ‘Raising Malawi’ have been working on since 2006.

Services for Caresse Henry will be held on Friday, April 9th at 11 AM in Los Angeles California. “The family has requested that their privacy be respected during this difficult time,” states Liz Rosenberg, longtime friend and spokesperson for the family.
