Kim Kardashian to Join Tyler Perry’s ‘The Marriage Counselor’

Though she and new husband Kris Humphries may not need one until the near future, Kim Kardashian has signed on for Tyler Perry’s The Marriage Counselor.

Based on the 2008 play, Jurnee Smollett of Friday Nights Lights and CBS’ short-lived The Defenders is the titular role of Judith, a young newlywed great of providing relationship advice to others, but has difficulty taking her own medicine, leading her to make the proverbial mistake of having an affair. Kim will play Ava, her co-worker that gives Judith a makeover and a better sense of herself while the latter deals with her troubled marriage.
