Go Now: Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster Burn Rubber

It is time to Go Now once again to the world of entertainment. So, let’s get started, shall we?

It was high-octane this weekend, as Fast & Furious finished first in the box office race. The fourth installment of the 2001 summer blockbuster reunited original crew Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, and Michelle Rodriguez, as they burn rubber once more to take down a drug kingpin. The movie outperformed last week’s champ Monsters vs. Aliens — taking in $72.5 million, this year’s best opening so far.

The spin-off for Tuesday’s #1 show, NCIS, is currently under the working title NCIS: Legend. It will star LL Cool J, former Robin Chris O’Donnell, and former CSI Louise Lombard, as it will center around undercover investigators in Los Angeles. Like NCIS, the show will be introduced as a two-part episode, when Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and McGee (Sean Murray) go to LA to help their counterparts, a special-ops team, solve the murder of one of their own. If picked up as a series this fall, Legend could be change to either to NCIS: OSP (Office of Special Projects) or NCIS: Undercover. The two-parter will air on April 28 and May 5 on CBS.Nightly TV Listings
