Demi Moore Ends Her Marriage to Ashton Kutcher

Demi Moore may not have anything to be thankful for this year, as the actress decides to file for divorce from husband Ashton Kutcher after six years of marriage. The 49-year-old broke the news in a statement on Thursday.

“Radar Online reports (via Star magazine) that Demi is actually attracted to both men and women, which is what ultimately lead to the relationship’s failure. An insider revealed, “Demi is attracted to women just as much as men, so she didn’t always get all she needed from Ashton.” The source added that, “She was cool with Ashton having flirtatious relationships too. Somehow they made it work all these years.” Until now, that is. Evidently it all began to change when Ashton’s affairs became public, and the actress just decided she was done. You know, because I’m sure his serial cheating had nothing to do with it. Somehow, it always ends up being the lady’s fault.”

Ashton and Demi began dating in 2003, during that time Demi made her big-screen comeback in Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle while Ashton was a star on FOX’s That 70s Show, and host and executive producer of MTV’s Punk’d. Their romance caught the world’s attention, making Demi a Hollywood cougar due to the 15-year age difference between them.

They got married in 2005, making Ashton stepfather to Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, Demi’s daughters from her 13-year marriage to veteran action hero Bruce Willis. Demi and Bruce divorced in 2000 but continue to remain friendly over the years, as Ashton and Demi attended his 2009 wedding to model-actress Emma Heming.

Over the past recent months, though, there has been media speculation that the couple were on the rocks — mostly with reports of Ashton’s alleged infidelities.

However, they haven’t slowed down professionally with Ashton succeeding Charlie Sheen on CBS’ Two and a Half Men as heart-broken Internet billionaire Walden Schmidt, and Demi recently appearing in the film Margin Call; she will next be seen in the upcoming LOL: Laughing Out Loud with Miley Cyrus.

“I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi,” Ashton told his fans on Twitter. “Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail.”
