Monotypes: The Vestments Series

Caryl M. Christian Levy created the body of work of ‘The Vestment Series,’ acknowledging the power of her foremothers and influenced by Matisse and her world travels. Her work includes elements of painting and collage that are combined through a printing process known as monotypes. A monotype is a one of a kind print typically on paper and is produced as an original work instead of an edition.
